Beach-Cleaned Hollow Star Tree Decoration | Handmade Christmas Decoration

A classic Christmas star, reimagined with a story from the coastline.

Handcrafted in our Devon studio, this Beach-Cleaned Hollow Star Tree Decoration transforms genuine plastic recovered during UK beach cleans into a distinctive festive keepsake.

Measuring approximately 8cm x 8cm, the open-centred design creates a lighter, more contemporary interpretation of the traditional Christmas star.

Recovered plastic fragments are carefully preserved within crystal-clear bio-resin before the star is finished with natural jute twine for hanging.

The familiar five-point silhouette keeps the decoration unmistakably Christmassy, while its hollow centre gives the piece a clean, contemporary quality.

A Christmas Keepsake With a Little Starlight

Stars have decorated Christmas trees for generations.

Our Hollow Star adds a contemporary coastal twist.

The open centre allows the tree and its lights to remain visible through the decoration, while the recovered fragments around its outline catch the light beautifully.

Those fragments began as discarded plastic recovered from UK beaches before being transformed by hand in our Devon studio.

A Meaningful Christmas Gift

Its familiar shape and contemporary open design make the Hollow Star an easy addition to almost any style of Christmas tree.

It makes a thoughtful gift for friends, family, coastal lovers or anyone who enjoys handmade Christmas decorations with a story.

A Story in Every Decoration

Every Hollow Star arrives with details of the recovered materials and a what3words location showing where they were collected.

Completely Unique

No two Hollow Stars will ever contain the same combination of colours, textures or fragments.

The coastline chooses the colours. Christmas gives them a new place to shine.
